Fisherman's Ocean Gift

Gu Wen, a down-and-out fisherman, is driven out by his sister-in-law. He gains superpowers to see through seawater and dive for long periods. He strikes it rich by beachcombing, builds a fishing fleet, opens a purchasing station and restaurant, and sets up an aquaculture cooperative. While fighting local bullies like Zhang Laosan and Hei Ge, he also deals with custody disputes with his ex-wife and his scheming sister-in-law. His two cute kids, Duoduo and Xiaoshitou, are his greatest comfort. In the end, Gu Wen leads the whole village to prosperity and gains both career and love.
