From the Painted Skin

Ordinary office worker Sun Chen falls in love at first sight with the mysterious red-robed Chu Renmei and marries her quickly. Her oddities—avoiding black dog blood, changing skin at night—arouse his doubts. Seventh Uncle of Longhu Mountain labels her a skin-stripping ghost and hunts her relentlessly. As serial organ-harvesting murders break out, Sun is torn between trust and fear, only to discover Seventh Uncle is the real culprit: he’s killing innocents with a red-cloaked ghost to resurrect his daughter. Sun and Chu join forces to expose the conspiracy, end the evil, and cement their love through the ordeal.
