Soldier King Seizes the Throne

Zhao Jun, the king of mercenaries, transmigrates and becomes the puppet emperor of Great Chu. At the very beginning, he is humiliated by the vicious empress. Drawing on his skills as a modern soldier king, he strikes back fiercely. He eliminates traitors, takes control of the imperial guards, and establishes the Black Dragon Guards. He pretends to build a leopard chamber to lull the powerful prime minister Qin Yuan into complacency, and travels incognito to Jiangnan to investigate major cases of illegal salt and smuggled weapons. In the end, he crushes the rebel army with thunder bombs and seizes full imperial power.
