Survival in Frozen Wilderness

Fang Han, former captain of a polar research expedition, carries ten years of guilt over an avalanche and now makes a living as an escort. He is hired to escort Liu Ruo, the young heiress of the Liu clan, deep into the icefields to deliver the key to the ice-core vein. Along the way, they face life-or-death trials including wolf packs, pursuit by the Black Tiger Bandits and avalanches. From a spoiled heiress, Liu Ruo grows into a resilient woman and gradually falls for Fang Han. Fang Han discovers that the mastermind Xu Yin is none other than his missing teammate Xu Yi from years ago, who staged the disaster to seize the mineral vein alone. In the end, Fang Han joins forces with the rescue team to crush the plot, clear his teammate’s name, and embraces a new life together with Liu Ruo.
