The Grape Orchard Betrayal

Xu Wei, a female agribusiness CEO, is about to harvest her vineyard investment in Yunshui Village. Covetous of profits, Village Chief Zhao Qian conspires with villagers to block roads, trying to seize the multi-million orchard for a mere 100,000 yuan. Xu Wei terminates the lease and removes core tech and equipment overnight. Greedy villagers borrow money to plant blindly for profit at the provincial fair. They even use banned hormones to ripen toxic grapes and pass them off as quality produce. At the fair, Xu Wei exposes the fraud publicly, getting Yunshui Village blacklisted by the whole industry. In the end, the malicious villagers, loan sharks and rival CEO are imprisoned. Xu Wei’s enterprise soars, far out of Yunshui Village’s reach.
