The Signal Light’s Heir

Seven-year-old Zhixia is abducted and held captive for six years. Gravely ill, she is abandoned at Tonghua Village Railway Station and taken in and cared for by track inspector Zhou Deshan. After six years of searching, her birth parents Shen Ruohua and Song Yuanzhi arrive. With paternity confirmed, Zhixia returns home in Anyuan. With her parents’ patient companionship, she heals from trauma, attends school, makes friends and picks up painting, never forgetting Zhou Deshan. Zhou’s long-lost daughter Xiaolan is also recovered when the traffickers are arrested. In the end, Zhixia is admitted to the railway middle school, takes over the signal lamp key and carries on the legacy spanning two generations.
